Environmentally Safe Containment
UCS provides an environmentally safe containment for non-hazardous high chloride materials such as chloride contaminated soils and materials, drill mud, drill cuttings, excess cement, and other inert materials derived from various industries. We pride ourselves in providing companies with a green alternative as another option for getting rid of numerous types of beneficial reuse materials, which will give the landfills more space for disposal.
Features
We can accept semi-solid type material that does not have to pass the paint filter test, plus chloride levels pose no major concerns to our emplacement operation (the higher the chloride levels the better).
We will emplace these non-hazardous beneficial reuse materials into the open hole space of salt caverns to enhance the overall stabilization of the salt cavern wells once they are full with material.
UCS Facility
The UCS facility is located three and a quarter miles south of South Hutchinson, KS on Hwy K14. K14 is an all-purpose blacktop state Hwy connecting S Hutchinson and Hutchinson with US 54. K14 also connects with US 50, K96, a four-lane Hwy, and K61.
